It was just a piece of fruit.
It was just wood, pitch, time, and sweat equity.
It was just rain.
It was just a different language.
It was just a journey.
It was just a bowl of soup.
It was just a coat.
It was just a dream. Or 2.
It was just grain.
It was just a bush.
It was just flies.
It was just frogs.
It was just lice.
It was just a goat.
It was just some marching.
It was just some pitchers, lamps, & trumpets.
It was just a sling & a stone.
It was just beans and water.
It was just Bethlehem.
It was just a cross.
It was just a young preacher.
It was just a kid.
It's just a virus.
God has chosen to use the weak. The despised. The small. The irrelevant. Even things that are no more than a figment our imagination.
With a rod He can part seas. With spit and dust He can make blind eyes see. With a virus He can remind us that the things we trust in are unreliable. Only God is worthy of our attention, our affection, our love and loyalty, our trust.
God uses viruses.
